Good all around cookbook for chicken. It is so nice to find good recipes for chicken. I always do the recipe as printed.

This book was a great find and at the price it's being offered, it is a steal. I love making chicken for my family but I'd say 80% of the time it always comes out pretty dry. I have already tried 3 of the recipes in this book and they all come out pretty close to perfect.The book is perfectly formatted for the kindle with a working TOC so that is certainly a plus. The instructions are really easy to follow and most of the preparation for the recipes is simple. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to include a link after each recipe that links back to the TOC. But really that is just nitpicking at this point :o)
The recipes that I tried were:
1. Apple orange chicken - turned out EXCELLENT!
2. Coconut lime chicken with snow peas - I usually don't use coconut when cooking so I figured, why not give it a try. Turned out great.
3. Jenny's grilled chicken breast - I think I slightly over cooked the chicken on this one. Totally my fault.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking to add some variety to there old plain Jane chicken recipes. It has worked wonders for mine.

This cookbook has a variety of recipes. And although all the recipes listed are probably delicious, they didn't appeal to me.
This book has a wide variety of Chicken recipes that are made with using the most common ingredients. Perfect for busy parents who are on the go and who do not want to compromise on taste.
Each recipe comes with a nice introduction, prep time and yield. The instructions are clear, written in a friendly tone. The book has a working TOC that makes it easy to navigate from one recipe to another.
Overall an excellent recipe book!
I am not the best cook in the world. So I rely a lot on recipe books to get by. When it comes to chicken it seemed like I was serving the same old hash every time. This is why I picked up the book.
The recipes includ both savory and sweet. I liked the Almond Fingers and Wanton recipes in particular as they are a great little snacks for kids.
The eBook contained a working TOC and was well organized. These I believe are essentials elements of a good kindle cookbook.

This collection looks like it was just pulled together in a few days, or hours. Other than the cover, there are no pictures. Some recipes have nutritional information, others do not. For a book featuring healthy recipes, I think that would be automatic. Many feature the use of cans of soup. It makes me wonder if most of the recipes were just borrowed from elsewhere and re-used here. If that is the case, there are no credits. I'm glad I downloaded it when it was offered for free. I'd be quite disappointed if I had paid for my copy.
Some of these recipes were very good. They were a combination of variations on tried and true and just enough unique and quirky to make it interesting.
That said, she relied too much on processed ingredients such as canned peaches and cream of mushroom soup. However, I was easily able to use fresh ingredients to make substitutions without adding very many minutes.
She has a need for a better proof reader, but that tends to be true of many ebook writers.
This book was overall a positive experience and I am looking forward to her chicken salad recipes.
For each recipe we tried, the cooking times were dead on, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and the pictures were helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this cookbook. I don't know too many families that aren't looking for a way to get good food on the table quicker in the evenings, and this certainly holds true to that ideal. This will be a cookbook that stays in my for quite some time.
This has the potential to be a decent cookbook with some tasty sounding recipes. However, it is in serious need of some editing and proof-reading. Ingredients are called for in the instructions that aren't in the beginning list of ingredients. Likewise, ingredients are in the list and never called for in the instructions. Some ingredients are listed without amounts. Baking temperature on several recipes is 165 F. My oven doesn't even go that low and I can't imagine it would be hot enough to bake chicken. One recipe calls for 6 oz. chicken breasts to be browned in oil for 2 minutes, then baked @ 165 for 7 minutes. That barely even warms the chicken. The title of the book "Healthy Baked Chicken Recipes" was a bit misleading for me because almost every single recipe calls for you to brown the chicken in a skillet in oil before baking. When I look for baked chicken recipes, it's so I can avoid adding extra fat. Book needs to be redone with more attention to detail.
